Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in sales or a customer services situation
• Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: computer knowledge, art, human resources
• At least 18 years of age (The age minimum may be higher depending on state law and YMCA policies.)
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
• Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and individuals as they enter the building.
• Ensure all members are scanning cards, program members are signing in and all other individuals are accounted for.
• Possess the computer aptitude to operate YMCA software programs, Word and Excel.
• Complete required member and program member registration forms.
• Accurately count cash drawer at the start of each shift, maintain and balance throughout shift.
• Understand and be able to communicate YMCA policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of all programs and events provided by the YMCA.
• Sell YMCA memberships, understand all payment options emphasizing electronic monthly payment plans.
• Learn and become proficient in Daxko Operations software.
