Job summary

Golds Gym in San Antonio seeks a Front Desk Team Member to warmly greet members, guests, and staff as they enter the gym and to oversee front door access and the front desk operations. You will assist with member inquiries, provide information on gym policies, and perform various administrative duties as directed by the Gym General Manager.

The role includes checking members in, processing registrations, handling retail sales, and helping with membership sign-ups and class registrations.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused front desk experience or similar role preferred.
• Able to greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to handle inquiries and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly to create a friendly entry and exit.
• Control access to front door and retail area.
• Check members in using proper procedures and registration processes.
• Assist with member questions about gym operations and policies.
• Process retail and concession transactions and maintain inventory.
• Direct guests to trainers and classes and support phone inquiries.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain neat front desk appearance.
• Log maintenance and safety concerns and report incidents.
• Support membership sign-ups and basic account changes.
