Job summary

Talentify is seeking a front desk associate for the Lakeland YMCA location. You will greet members and guests, promote memberships and programs, and ensure a positive first impression.

This role includes data entry, member support, and basic sales activities at the front desk. You will work closely with staff to maintain a welcoming environment, handle inquiries, and process enrollments while complying with safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups of people from all backgrounds.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• CPR, First Aid & AED certifications required within 30 days of employment.
• Complete YMCA new employee orientation within onboarding period.
• Complete Member Experience course within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests, promoting memberships and programs.
• Respond to member needs and inquiries, directing to appropriate resources.
• Provide facility tours and upsell memberships and programs.
• Handle member registrations, enrollments, and cancellations accurately.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization.
• Process financial transactions and balance daily reports.
• Register guests and verify membership cards for access control.
• Support staff meetings and ongoing training.
