Job summary

In-Shape Fitness seeks a Member Experience Ambassador (MEA) to act as the heartbeat of our clubs, building a welcoming, helpful environment for members, guests and staff. The MEA promotes our fitness philosophy, assists with memberships, and drives a positive, safety-conscious club culture.

You will guide new members through FitStart, help them navigate our app, and lead tours that match individual goals. This role emphasizes exceptional service, sales basics, and teamwork in a dynamic fitness

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Passionate about fitness and helping others in their fitness journey.
• Basic fitness and sales experience.
• Excellent communication and listening skills in person and on the phone.
• Demonstrated customer service experience; friendly, outgoing and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Get to know members/prospective members and describe In-Shape’s fitness philosophy and membership options.
• Support new members through FitStart and help them get acquainted with the club and equipment.
• Assist members with downloading the mobile app and getting started.
• Give club tours and highlight amenities, activities, programs and promotions aligned with member goals.
• Provide excellent service by responding to member needs and processing membership changes promptly.
