Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Member Experience Ambassador to be the heartbeat of our clubs. You will connect with members, guests, and teammates, delivering outstanding service and guiding fitness journeys.

You’ll assist with FitStart onboarding, member app setup, club tours, and retail recommendations while upholding cleanliness and safety standards. A flexible schedule and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills in-person and on the phone.
• Passion for fitness and helping others achieve goals.
• Able to work a flexible shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Current CPR or ability to pass CPR within 60 days of hire date.
• First Aid Training as required at pools.

Responsibilities

• Know members and guests; explain In-Shape options and determine best fit.
• Support new members through FitStart; onboard club and equipment.
• Assist members with app download and setup; show how to use basics.
• Give club tours; highlight amenities, programs, and promotions.
• Stock, sell, and recommend retail items aligned with fitness goals.
• Provide excellent customer service; handle membership changes.
• Create a welcoming, motivating member experience; exceed expectations.
• Follow In-Shape Clean Approach and safety policies.
• Resolve concerns and ensure member needs are met.
• Maintain safe environment by following procedures.
• Assist in other areas as needed; monitor pool/slide when applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
