Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Member Experience Ambassador to be the heartbeat of our clubs. You will connect with members and guests, guide them through FitStart, demonstrate app usage, and promote club amenities and programs. A friendly, proactive attitude and a passion for fitness are essential.

Responsibilities include assisting with memberships, upselling retail, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. CPR or ability to obtain CPR within 60 days is required when applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience in person or over the phone.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively to members.
• Willingness to learn club programs, apps, and membership options.
• Bilingual skills are a plus and CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Get to know members and guests; recommend membership options that fit goals.
• Support new members through FitStart; orient them to club and equipment.
• Assist with app downloads and getting started; provide club tours.
• Promote and upsell retail items aligned with member goals.
• Deliver strong customer service via calls and in-person requests; update memberships as needed.
• Maintain a welcoming, motivating environment and comply with safety policies.
