Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking Front Desk Associates to warmly welcome members, answer questions, process payments, and promote memberships at the New Haven club. The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and a proactive approach to resolving member needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of in-person customer service in retail or fitness, a High School diploma, and a flexible, rotating schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Six months in-person customer service in retail, or one year fitness experience preferred.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible rotating schedule and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for member inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, friendly manner.
• Respond promptly to member needs and inquiries.
• Provide courteous telephone service and information.
• Resolve customer concerns with a positive approach.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Accept payments, give change and receipts, and promote promotions.
