Job summary

Excel Fitness is seeking a team member to help maintain a clean and welcoming club environment, assist members with equipment and services, and support membership promotions. You will manage POS input, inventory, and daily cash handling while upholding company standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, CPR/AED certification, and strong communication. The role requires standing for long periods and teamwork in a fast-paced gym setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification required before solo work; training available within 30 days if uncertified.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Ability to handle sensitive information.
• Familiar with Excel Fitness brand and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Audit club inventory and coordinate with GM/AM on orders.
• Assist GM and AM with membership promotions and programs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and insurance requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and support outreach activities.
