Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience at the front desk. You will greet members and guests, assist with sign-ups, answer phones, and conduct tours for prospective members, guiding them through our gym's offerings.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-service mindset, basic computer skills, and a passion for fitness. You must be reliable, punctual, able to stand for long periods, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk during shift.
• Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities: answer phones, assist callers.
• Check members into the system and sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and elevate to management when needed.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
