Job summary

One Medical in Darien, CT is seeking a Float Member Support Specialist to be the welcoming face of our office, assisting patients and staff with appointments, check-in and inquiries. You will help ensure a smooth patient experience and support the care team with scheduling, billing and communications.

You will collaborate with the practice team, adapt to changing patient needs, and use our technology suite to manage daily tasks while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk support, check-in/check-out and scheduling tasks.
• Verify insurance and assist with billing related inquiries.
• Support in-office providers and education to patients and families.
• Master tools like Slack, G-suite, Zoom and EMR for daily tasks.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized office environment and assist with opening/closing duties.
