Job summary

PACT MSO is seeking a Front Office Associate to float between Hamden and Ansonia, CT. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with some overtime. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, process checkouts, collect co-pays, and enter data into the EHR.

Experience in a surgical medical office is preferred and a friendly, professional demeanor is essential for delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of office experience.
• High School or GED required.
• Surgical medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, vendors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Register and check in patients following standard SOP.
• Schedule and confirm patients' appointments.
• Check out patients and process necessary steps in checkout SOP.
• Collect co-pays and payments on balances.
• Open and close batch daily for deposit.
• Index documents into patients' charts in the EHR system.
• Answer and route phone calls professionally.
• Explain financial requirements and collect co-pays as required.
• Handle transfer of phone system and after-hours messages.
• Perform other assignments and special projects.
