One Medical in Chicago, IL is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Member Support Specialist) to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, efficient in-office experience. You will manage check-in/check-out, scheduling, billing, and patient feedback while upholding the One Medical standards.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and comfort with a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with practice staff, use Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and the 1Life EMR to support

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating in diverse, feedback-driven teams.
• Ability to adapt to change and take initiative under pressure.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and navigation.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework to deliver a fluid, positive in-office experience.
• Handle front-of-house duties: check in/out, verify insurance, prepare paperwork.
• Support team through rounding, huddles, problem solving with providers.
• Master tech suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR) to interact with team and patients.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office look and organization.
