Job summary

YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a Membership Associate at Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn, PA. You will greet visitors, provide accurate information, and connect members and non-members with staff, programs, and resources to help them achieve their goals and stay engaged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• Experience with children preferred.
• Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety and whereabouts of the children in the group at all times, providing a safe, interactive program.
• Maintain a clean and risk-free room arrangement.
• Maintain records, including, (but not limited to): accident and incident reports, sign in/out sheets, attendance records.
• Greet parents and children daily using names in all interactions.
• Report and/or direct parental concerns to supervisor.
• Use positive, age-appropriate behavior management tools, including redirection and positive reinforcement, using the Y voice at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
