Job summary

NRECA is seeking an Associate for the Member Contact Center to handle inbound inquiries about group benefits and retirement accounts. The role requires delivering superior service in a fast-paced environment and resolving questions with accuracy.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days remote) with a schedule from 10:15 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and salary in the $46k–$54k range along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred Education: Associate degree in a business-related field.
• Required Experience: 12 months of telephone customer service, preferably in inbound call center.
• Experience using call tracking software with a high level of detail.
• Knowledge of group insurance and pension plan administration.
• Knowledge of basic information security concepts.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer applications daily.
• Excellent telephone customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to report to the office when required.

• Support employees and benefits administrators by answering questions about group benefits and retirement accounts.
