Job summary

BECU is seeking a Member Consultant II to deliver a seamless member experience and expert sales across business services, lending, deposits, and other financial products. The role requires rotating across branches, signing documents, and supporting community financial wellness.

Training and travel between branches are required, with a commitment to developing member relationships. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in sales/financial environments, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment.
• Spanish language fluency highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
• Proficient with learning new systems and programs; ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Completion of a 12-week in-house training program after hire.
• Comprehensive understanding of Credit Union objectives, products and services.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to membership, deposits and loans.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; problem resolution and multitasking.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales across services, lending, and accounts.
• Sign all line and loan documents originated through the call center.
• Assist the community with financial wellness through education and planning resources.
