Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience with service/sales goals.
• Basic understanding of financial products and services.
• Professional verbal skills and etiquette.
• Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel proficiency; remote signing; webcam.
• Excellent follow up.
• Strong interpersonal listening and anticipating member needs.
• Excellent written skills (Email) – grammar and spelling.
• Member service and organizational skills.
• Team player; works well with other departments.
• Empathetic and caring in conversations that matter.
• Willingness to make a difference; personable and professional.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and timely service to members via phone, mail, facsimile, etc.
• Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, follow up on pending transactions.
• Recommend other products/services from conversations that matter with members.
• Open new member accounts; manage Savings, Checking, Money Market, IRA, etc.
• Complete forms such as Account Cards, Certificates, Trust docs and more.
• Perform account maintenance: address/name changes, updates, beneficiaries, closures.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior or fraud activity.
• Complete required training and compliance modules.
• Treat co-workers and members with respect; support improvement activities.
• Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
