Nuvision Federal Credit Union seeks a Member Contact Center Representative I to deliver exemplary member service across phone, email, web channels, mail, and facsimile. You will process deposits and withdrawals, review account information and transactions, process loan payments, and provide basic online banking support while supporting cross-sell goals.

The role emphasizes member experience, confidentiality, teamwork, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding service/sales goals.
• Basic understanding of financial products and services
• Professional verbal skills and etiquette
• Competent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel), remote signing and ability to work and operate a webcam
• Excellent follow up
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs
• Excellent written skills (Email) – Grammar and spelling
• Member service and organizational skills
• Work well with other departments — Team player
• Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring nature
• Willingness to make a difference
• Personable and professional

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and timely service to members via all channels (phone, mail, facsimile, etc.).
• Handle basic member service transactions with accuracy.
• Consult with members to identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on transactions.
• Recommend other products/services based on conversations with members.
• Open and maintain member accounts, including various account types and required forms.
• Handle account changes and maintenance tasks (address changes, name changes, beneficiaries, etc.).
• Identify and report any suspicious activity or potential fraud.
• Complete all required training and compliance modules.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and act with tact and diplomacy.
• Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
