Job summary

Gesa Credit Union in South Bend, WA, is seeking an entry-level Personal Financial Services Representative. You’ll open consumer accounts, take credit applications, review reports, and close loans while delivering outstanding member service.

You’ll also assist with Notary services, digital banking, and community outreach. This role starts at an hourly wage with opportunities to grow within the branch team.

Qualifications

• High School degree required.
• Sales/relationship building experience required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Notary Public.
• Attend and engage in community events on behalf of the credit union.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service to all whom we serve.
• Solve problems, take ownership of member concerns, provide prompt resolutions, and follow up as appropriate.
• Have a core understanding of financial literacy and be able to converse about products and services.
• Offer appropriate products and/or services to deepen member relationships and refer to other team members as appropriate.
• Open consumer deposit accounts and perform consumer account maintenance.
• Take loan applications, review credit reports, and close loans while communicating next steps.
• Assist members with Digital Banking enrollment, navigation, and maintenance.
• Perform Notary Public services and ensure compliance with state regulations.
