Job summary

Gesa Credit Union in Walla Walla, WA is seeking an entry-level Personal Financial Services Representative (PFR) to help members open accounts, process loans, and provide outstanding service. You will act as a Notary Public, assist with digital banking, and support the branch as an MSA and Sr. MSA as needed.

The role emphasizes building relationships, cross-selling appropriate products, and maintaining accuracy in all transactions. A High School degree and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Sales/relationship building experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Notary Public.
• Attend and engage in community events on behalf of the credit union.
• Maintain confidentiality, control risk, and manage operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service to all we serve.
• Solve problems and escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed.
• Understand financial literacy, products, and services to inform members.
• Offer appropriate products and/or services to deepen member relationships.
• Make outbound calls to establish and nurture member relationships.
• Assist non-members with establishing membership.
• Process consumer lending applications and review credit reports.
