Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a dedicated caregiver for a Full-time position at our Day Center. You will provide hands-on care to Members, assist with ADLs, and offer companionship throughout the day.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to pass drug and background screening. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 8:30am–4:30pm; no weekends or holidays. Weekly pay and medical benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with Activities/ADL care for older adults (memory concerns/dementia) preferred.
• Experience with activities/ADL care for special needs adults 18+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to Members/Clients at the Day Center, assisting with ADLs as needed.
• Serve catered meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Provide companionship and engage Members in activities at the Center.
• Maintain a clean environment for Members.
• Ensure the safety of Members at the Day Center.

Job Description:

Elite Home Care, Day Centers and Transportation provides Non-Medical In-Home Care, Medical Adult Day Care and Non-Emergency Transportation across the state of South Carolina. These services are offered to Seniors and Adults with specialized careneeds who desire to continue living at home or with loved ones in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Providing hands on care to Members/Clients at the Day Center, assisting with ADL's (feeding, toileting) as needed
• Serving catered meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Provide companionship for the Members and participate in activities of the Center interacting and engaging Members throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center.
• Ensure the members of the day center are safe and free of harm while at the day center

Experience / Requirements:

• Experience with Activities/ADL care with Older Adults with Memory Concerns such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Diagnoses (preferred)
• Experience with Activities/ADL care for special needs young adults, 18+ (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to pass drug and background screening
