Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation Laurens is seeking a compassionate Activity/Member Assistant to support elderly and young adult clients at our Laurens Day Center. This full-time, hourly role collaborates with the Activity Director to plan engaging activities and provide hands-on ADL support.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with elderly and/or disabled population preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Must be physically able to assist members with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Activity Director to carry out engaging activities for members, including games, arts and crafts, music, health and educational programs.
• Assist with behavior redirection as needed.
• Set up and clean activity areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Document and report any changes in client behavior or health to the RN Administrator.
• Actively engage and socialize with clients to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain member confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Job Summary: Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation Laurens is seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as an Activity/Member Assistant. This individual will be responsible for assisting in and implementing activities for our elderly and young adult clients at our Laurens Day Center. This is a full-time, hourly position in the healthcare industry and will require working collaboratively with other team members to provide the best care possible. The Activity/Member Assistant will provide hands onADL care for day center members in need of assistance, this includes but is not limited to, toileting, feeding and assistance with activities.

Responsibilities
