Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation Laurens is seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as an Activity/Member Assistant. This is a full-time, hourly position assisting elderly and young adult clients with activities and hands-on ADL care at our Laurens Day Center.

You will work with the Activity Director to plan games, crafts, music, and health programs, provide personal care assistance, and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with elderly or disabled population preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Activity Director to carry out engaging activities for members, including games, arts and crafts, music, health and educational programs.
• Assist with behavior redirection as needed.
• Responsible for setting up and cleaning activity areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including assistance with feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Document and report any changes in client behavior or health to the RN Administrator.
• Actively engage and socialize with clients to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain member confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Job Summary:

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation Laurens is seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as an Activity/Member Assistant. This individual will be responsible for assisting in and implementing activities for our elderly and young adult clients at our Laurens Day Center. This is a full-time, hourly position in the healthcare industry and will require working collaboratively with other team members to provide the best care possible. The Activity/Member Assistant will provide hands on ADL care for day center members in need of assistance, this includes but is not limited to, toileting, feeding and assistance with activities.

Responsibilities:
