Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation in Greer, SC is seeking an Activity/Member Assistant to join our team. You will help plan engaging activities and provide personal care to our members.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays, and competitive hourly pay with benefits after 30 days. Ideal candidates are compassionate, possess strong communication, CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with elderly or disabled preferred but not required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically able to assist members with ADL tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities (arts & crafts, music, games, educational programs).
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members (feeding, toileting, dressing).
• Foster a positive, interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to maintain a safe, organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document changes in client behavior or health; report to RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
