Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Greer, SC seeks an Activity/Member Assistant to join our team. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, and vision, plus paid time off after 30 days. The ideal candidate will assist with engaging activities for elderly and young adults, provide ADL support, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a clean background check and drug test.
• Must be physically able to assist members with personal care tasks.
• CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in implementing engaging activities (arts/crafts, music, games, educational programs).
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) including feeding, toileting, and dressing as needed.
• Foster a positive, interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to maintain a safe, organized space.
• Redirect behaviors to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document changes in client behavior or health and report to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
