Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Spartanburg, SC is hiring an Activity/Member Assistant to support elderly and young adults in a caring, engaging environment. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend or holiday shifts.

You will help plan activities, provide ADL assistance, monitor member well-being, and maintain a safe, welcoming space. We offer competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits after 30 days, plus PTO in a friendly team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Reliable transportation and/or valid driver's license.
• CPR Certification or willingness to obtain CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands‑on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

What We’re Looking For
