Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Upper Extremities Sales Associate to closely partner with area Sales Representatives, quickly learn the medical device industry, and contribute to growth in the assigned territory. You will support sales calls, case coverage, and product promotion while building inventory and customer relationships.

After training, you will tailor messages to customers, advise on product selection, and help meet or exceed business targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate's degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and grow the Upper Extremities business in the territory.
• Attend surgeries to ensure product availability and instruct surgeons on product use.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on proper use, maintenance, and updates of Stryker products.
• Work with sales teams to identify opportunities and develop customer relationships.
• Identify needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses.
• Tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge and advise on product selection.
• Perform field calls for assigned accounts and territory.
• Assist in creating and executing sales plans and marketing strategies to meet quotas.
• Serve as backup contact for Sales Representatives and address inquiries.
• Assist with inventory management and PO processing for proper invoicing.
• Market product lines and stay current on industry and competitive trends.
• Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular hours.
• Maintain compliance with AdvaMed and company policies.
