Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an Upper Extremities Sales Associate in a field-based capacity. You will partner with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry, cover cases, promote products, and ensure inventory readiness in the assigned territory.

After training, you will tailor messages to customers, educate clinicians on product usage, and develop new sales opportunities while working to meet quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or medical certification with relevant professional experience.
• High school diploma with substantial related experience accepted.
• Military service of 4+ years recognized as qualified background.

Responsibilities

• Learn the medical device business and Upper Extremities products by partnering with the Sales Representatives.
• Cover cases in the territory and promote products, build sets, and manage inventory.
• Attend surgeries to ensure product availability and educate surgeons on use and functionality.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on proper product use and maintenance.
• Develop sales opportunities and strengthen customer relationships with the Sales Team.
• Identify needs of new prospects with the Sales Representative and tailor responses.
• After training, tailor promotional messages to customers and answer product questions.
• Perform field calls and help implement new sales plans and strategies.
• Meet or exceed business targets and quotas; serve as backup contact for Sales Reps.
• Assist with inventory planning and processing Customer Purchase Orders.
• Maintain product training and market the line against competitors.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (e.g. CST, PT, CPT)

High School Diploma + 4 years of related experience

4+ years of active duty military service
