Job summary

Stryker in New London, CT is seeking an Upper Extremities Sales Associate to partner with local Sales Representatives and quickly learn the medical device industry. You will support surgeries, promote products, and help grow the Upper Extremities portfolio in the assigned territory.

After training, you will tailor Stryker’s promotional messages to customer needs, educate clinicians on product use, manage inventory, assist with customer purchase orders, and work with the team to meet or exceed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination.
• Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service

Responsibilities

• Learn the medical device industry and Upper Extremities business in the assigned territory with the Sales Representative(s).
• Attend surgeries to ensure products are available and instruct surgeons on usage and functionality.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on proper use, maintenance, and updates of Stryker products.
• Work with sales teams to identify opportunities and deliver excellent customer service.
• Identify needs of new prospects with the Sales Representative and respond appropriately.
• Tailor the promotional message after training and advise on product selection.
• Perform field calls for the accounts and territory.
• Assist in implementing new sales plans and marketing strategies to meet/exceed quotas.
• Serve as backup contact for Sales Representatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
