Job summary

BD is seeking a sales representative to cover a geographic area and achieve sales objectives. The role involves selling the BDPI product line, educating customers about features, pricing, and policies, and providing in-service training as needed.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent outside sales experience, with strong communication and analytical skills to identify customer needs and craft solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years outside sales experience required
• Two or more years outside sales experience
• Demonstrated human relation and communication skills
• Surgical procedure knowledge to illustrate product benefits

Responsibilities

• Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts and informs customers of pricing, backorders, and policies
• Executes comprehensive in-service of products to concerned individuals
• Plans sales calls on a continuous basis and manages time effectively
• Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data
• Informs Regional Manager of market changes and competitive activity
• Achieves prompt solutions to customer complaints
• Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions
• Completes and processes reports per policy
