Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a field-based technician to travel to hospitals to perform software upgrades for automated medication dispensing devices, ensuring installation, configuration, and updates.

You will educate healthcare staff, perform checks, troubleshoot, and maintain credentialing and vaccine requirements; some nights and weekends are required; 28–32 hours per week with travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Must maintain personal parts inventory and source from approved vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
