Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS seeks a field-based technician to travel to hospitals and perform software upgrades on automated medication dispensing devices. You will install, configure, and update medical devices and networks, run checks after setup, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring proper calibration and staff education.

Open availability Monday–Friday with 28–32 hours per week and travel; some nights/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
