IQVIA is seeking a field-based technician to visit hospitals for software upgrades on automated medication dispensing devices. You will install, configure, and update medical devices, perform post-setup checks, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to calibration protocols.

The role requires substantial travel, an associate degree in a related field, and 1+ year of technical experience. Some nights/weekends and vaccine credentialing may be required. IQVIA emphasizes equal opportunity employment.

Formación

• Associates degree preferred in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related fields.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and update medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Perform routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, escalate when needed.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
• Educate healthcare staff on device use and software.
• Comply with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
