Zusammenfassung

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a field service technician to travel to hospitals and perform software upgrades on automated medication dispensing devices. You will install, configure, and update medical devices, run routine checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with hospital credentialing requirements.

The role is assignment-based with 28–32 hours per week plus travel, some nights/weekends, and regional/national travel.

Qualifikationen

• Travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in field technician role preferred.
• Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
