Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Service Team Leader to manage a team of Field Service Engineers in installation, service and repair of MedTech solutions across a wide territory. You will guide field technicians, coordinate urgent requests, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to health, safety and environmental guidelines.

The role requires strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, with willingness to travel and support after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Trade certificate or higher with related field experience.
• Significant experience in Cardiology or Electrophysiology is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical / electronics / computer field is advantageous.
• Proven leadership and field-service delivery capabilities are required.
• Ability to travel on short notice and manage customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of Field Service Engineers in scheduling and delivery.
• Install, operate, repair and modify equipment within assigned territory.
• Coordinate region-wide technical/engineering work for all products serviced.
• Respond to emergency service requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide guidance to doctors, nurses and biomedical engineers for satisfaction.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and maintain service records.
• Suggest design improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce costs.
• Plan installation-phases and manage customer expectations regularly.
• Complete activities in the Service Management System and process RMAs.
• Maintain inventories and assist in on-site training of Field Service Engineers.
