Job summary

QSL Management seeks a Medication Technician for The Blake at Panama City Beach in Panama City Beach, FL. The role involves accurately distributing medications, recording progress, and supporting residents with dining and activities in a senior living setting.

The successful candidate will hold a state-issued Medication Technician license, have a caring disposition, and be flexible to weekend/holiday shifts, with CPR/First Aid preferred to contribute to a high-quality care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related records.
• Report changes in residents' health and status with daily progress notes.
• Ensure medication management is accurate and compliant with The Blake standards and regulations.
• Assist with dining and activities to engage residents.
• Provide compassionate care to residents and support the leadership team.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for The Blake at Panama City Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
