Job summary

Barclay House of Stuart is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident health, administer medications, and maintain accurate records in a compassionate senior living environment.

You will report health changes, assist with dining and activities, and ensure compliance with state regulations. A state license is required, CPR/First Aid preferred, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• Caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid (preferred).
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
