Job summary

The Barclay at Vero Beach - Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to support residents with daily care, medication administration, and accurate record-keeping to ensure safety and well‑being.

Requirements include a current Medication Technician license, a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid preferred, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Must have caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in health and status of residents and complete daily data sheets.
• Ensure medication management is provided in an accurate, professional, and compliant manner according to standards and regulations.
• Explain medication dosage/pharmacology when needed; distribute prescribed medications and maintain related medical records.
• Assist with dining as needed by leadership.
• Assist with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for The Barclay at Vero Beach AL and MC

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements
