Job summary

Onelife-Senior-Living is hiring a Med Tech for Sonnet Hill Senior Living in San Jose, CA to provide high-quality care to residents. Training is available for qualified candidates; competitive wages and growth opportunities are highlighted.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available to support a compassionate team. The role requires administering medications, documenting care, and collaborating with health services to ensure privacy, dignity, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year caregiving experience preferred.
• Senior Living experience required.
• Current Adult First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
• LIC 503 Health Screening Report.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents' physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of resident's needs and preferences.
• Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a person-centered care setting.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
