Job summary

Belmare Senior Living in Oakdale, CA is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to provide high-quality care to residents in our community. The role offers AM, PM, and NOC shifts with opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules.

We require at least a high school diploma and English literacy, plus a minimum of one year of caregiving experience. Certifications (Food Handler, First Aid, Caregiver, CPR) and a background check are needed. Training is provided to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year caregiving experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have Food Handler, First Aid, Caregiver, and CPR certifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508/LIC 503 documents.
• LIC 503 Health Screening Report is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of residents’ needs and preferences.
• Communicates with health services team, physicians, other providers, and responsible parties as needed.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a person-centered care framework.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.
