Job summary

Vineyard Henderson Memory Care in Henderson, NV is seeking a compassionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to residents in our community. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year caregiving experience in senior living preferred.
• 12 months experience administering medications preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of resident’s needs and preferences.
• Communicates with health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living in a person-centered care setting.
• Support daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents have privacy, respect and dignity.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Complete state required training on hire and annually.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech

• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year prior caregiving experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Minimum 12 months experience administering medications preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
