The Woodlake Senior Living in Sacramento, CA is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to provide high-quality care to residents. The position offers Full Time PM shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) with opportunities for PRN/Part Time. Training available and wages competitive to support growth within our team.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and fluency in English. Certification preferences and background checks are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience is required.
• Experience in a nursing home or senior living setting.
• CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/Caregiver certifications preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Background checks and health screenings are required.

Responsabilidades

• Administers and documents medications and treatments as directed by residents’ physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of residents’ needs and preferences.
• Communicates with health services team, physicians, and other healthcare providers as needed.
• Assists with activities of daily living in our person-centered care philosophy.
• Assists in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensures residents are provided privacy, respect and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training on hire and annually.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physician.


• Documents and reports changes and observations of resident’s needs and preferences.


• Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.


• Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.


• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.


• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.


• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.


• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.


• A minimum of one (1) year caregiving experience is required.


• Experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare or senior living.


• Be at least 18 years of age.


• Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is essential.


• Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred.


• Food Handlers Certification, First Aid Certification, Caregiver Certification and CPR Certification preferred.


• Basic computer skills.


• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.


• State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement


• LIC 503 Health Screening Report
