Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician certification in good standing or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance regarding resident care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Lead on-shift demonstrations of the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’.
