Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with daily medications and compassionate care in Crown Point, IN. You will follow physician orders, use the eMAR system, and collaborate with the care team to maintain residents’ dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or at least one year of experience caring for seniors.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to dispense medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and company policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification on resident medications.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed care staff as appropriate.
• Model the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
