Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care at our branch. You will ensure daily medications are administered accurately and with compassion, upholding resident dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities include following the MAR and Six Rights, using the eMAR system, communicating with clinical leadership, and guiding non-licensed staff on shift. CPR and First Aid certification are required, with ongoing training offered.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per Physician's orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission on shift.
