Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure daily medications are administered with compassion and respect for dignity. The role emphasizes accurate MAR adherence, use of the eMAR system, and collaboration with clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year senior care experience.
• Must have an approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Willing to take additional training as state requires.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification on medications.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members on shift.
• Model Bickford’s mission and lead by example on shift.
