Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care and medication delivery with compassion and dignity. You will follow physician orders, use the eMAR system, and work under clinical leadership to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications include an active Medication Technician Certification (or 1+ year senior care experience), CPR/First Aid, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience caring for seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Willing to take additional training or education, per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
• Understand and follow the Six rights of medication administration and facility policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification/direction on resident care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford's Mission in daily shift leadership.
