Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure medications are administered accurately and compassionately. You will follow orders, use the eMAR system, and maintain resident dignity while supporting daily life.

The role requires current Medication Technician certification or 1+ year of senior care experience, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident medication care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff on shift.
