Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity. This role requires adherence to MAR, the Six rights, and use of the eMAR system, while maintaining resident safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies and procedures.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration as directed by clinical leadership.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission on shift as a leader to the team.
