Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure medications are administered accurately and with compassion. You will work within the branch to uphold dignity and quality of life for residents, while following all MAR and eMAR procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Willing to take additional training as states may require.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and facility policies.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification on medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission in daily shift leadership.
