Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care by accurately administering medications according to physician orders and MAR, while upholding dignity and compassion. The role requires active certification or relevant experience, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to manage multiple priorities on shift.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in senior care
• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies for medication management
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident medication and care
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate on shift
